Glenn
yells at Jim while loading the magazine for our Cinema Products CP16
camera, and John Yost fiddles with our Nagra 1/4" sound recorder. |
|
Pete McKinney, the grip, looks
around for something to grip other than the chair. I continue to stress
out because one of my actors is sick. |
|
Our
Professor, Jack Beck, and TA, Nate Nadell, check out the shoot |
|
Nate's
upset because I didn't ask him to act. |
|
Glenn
Porter, my Director of Photography sets up the shot. |
|
Jim
Van Patten, my Assistant Camera, is eager to clap the slate...A little too
eager...Hmmmmm |
|
Ed,
my actor, sits patiently as we light him. |
|
Ted
Price, the turtle, is very sensitive about his body hair. Not many people
have green and yellow fur. Kai Hardy, my producer, smells his hand in the
background. I think he forgot to wash them after using the bathroom. |
|
Jack
Beck, my professor, prepares for his cameo. |
|
Ted
Price asks the nice foreign man next door to stop mowing his lawn for a
couple of minutes so we can get good sound. After 5 minutes of trying to
explain to him what Ted's trying to say, Ted leaves and the mowing
continues. |

That's
a Wrap! John Yost, Sound, and Glenn (out of frame) beat up Jim while he's
completely helpless, taking the film out of the magazine. Filmmakers can
be so cruel. |
