Crack Addict Dog - The Movie
So this started as my final
for Intro to 3D Modeling
Project. We never really learned much about rigging our character because
modeling was more important at the time. I modeled Crack Addict
Dog in Fall 2002, and then waited a year and a half to take Intro to
3D Character Animation... during my last quarter at RIT. We had to
use the characters we made in 3D Modeling, and all the students that
had taken Modeling early in the year knew it, and rigged their
characters properly... While I on the other hand was the black sheep
in the class that had no business being there. This animation
started out grand! I had an amazing storyboards and I was super
psyched to final animate my little creation. I showed my teacher my
storyboards, and she told me there was no way in hell that I would
ever finish it, and if I wanted to pass, I should cut out the 2 1/2
minute elaborate fight scene that I had choreographed, as well as
the minute long opening title sequence that told the entire back
story of Crack Addict Dog and his bowl. Well I listened, and I
passed, but I ran out of time to properly finish it...even it's
abbreviated variation.... :-/ Oh well, here it is in all it's
horrendous glory. I keep telling myself I'm going to finish the
whole thing and then market it to Cartoon Network for Adult Swim...
but I've kinda forgotten how to use Maya, and I don't really have
the time...
